I think Mitt would make a better candidate for president than Condi, for a lot of the same reasons you've outlined: He's not a woman, he's more in line with red state values, and he has previous experience actually running government offices. Now don't think I'm sexist or anything; I'd love to see a woman in the white house, but I don't necessarily see it happening on the Republican side first. And if he can win one of the bluest states in the nation as a Republican, he can probably fare better than lots of other proposed candidates.
