  • Jeremy C. Wright · 5 years ago
Be nice to know if there was anti-spam ;-)

For the month? While I’m tempted to yell out 1 Dollar Bob, the rules are ‘up or down’, which isn’t any fun ;-)

    My guess? 5,506.

Hopefully you don’t need a root canal :O

Only anti-spam software running is on my client side and all it does is filter it to a different folder. ;)

My school uses SurfControl, and it blocks way too many sites, game sites, proxy servers, and even last year google images.

Being a nuke was an awesome experience. However, it is old fashioned. Not at all what you would expect. It was Very stressful to hack the school sometimes. I just paid active attention, slept well before tests and meditated briefly before each test commenced. I got through with high marks. If you fall behind, they tear you up like dogs. crushing extra homework and extra duties. Also, no messy personal trouble or you can get excommunicated.

Ex nukes actually get the hookups. meaning kids who were nukes and couldn't hack it but were good people. They seem to shine at their new jobs. I've seen it a bunch of times.

27 guy, you dodged a bullet. Navnuc may be prestigious but shit comes with it. They are perpetually undermanned(on the ship, that is) since the bar is so very high. This means more work. The Rickover program is the model for the world but it operates with a lot of wasted money and material and men. They make you proud to be able to take the abuse.

Thinking back though, I seem to recall some guys did have age waivers. This was rare on account of how 95% of everybody was 18 to 20(and male). Older guys tended to hang back, but it could be a serious highskewlish environment, at least at A school and Power school. the smoke pads could devolve into mosh pits. We used to 'keep the home fires burning' meaning pile so many butts in the cans that they would still be on fire when you emerged for your next break. The food was First Rate Always. MmmmMmmmm. Jack the Ripper's. the Horse and Cart.

They make you pay for it all later though.

Good luck on your respective careers.

Let me reiterate for all who keep demanding help with their referrals. I am removing your links until you help me out. Once you have, I will gladly reciprocate and help you out and make your request visible again.

I treat this kind of behavior like spam and will not be tolerated here. Give and it will be given unto you.

And don’t call me an optimist. on average, I get about 2 or 3 spam emails a month. Combine the Hiveware Enkoder and Thunderbird, and you’re set. :)
