And many thanks to all in the community giving this write-up love! We could not do it without you.

Quick note @Chris Parandian: You are absolutely one of the top JESS3 clients, and we love Tin Can! Mea culpa for not having you on that list. I am Jesse's mother and have watched him grow. He was always an entrepreneur and always thinking of different ways of making money. By the end of high school he knew that using the Internet was the way to go and his vision for the future began then, and is gradually being realised.

Re: Interview with the Entrepreneur: Jesse Thomas of JESS3

I can't believe Jesse forgot Tin Can Communications(tm) ; )

They are great and we are a client..

Re: Interview with the Entrepreneur: Jesse Thomas of JESS3

Excellent interview - Jesse has real insight into the times and recognizes we are at the crossroads of something akin to the great turning points of the past. It's an exciting time to be in this business I never cease to wonder what's around the corner next.

Re: Interview with the Entrepreneur: Jesse Thomas of JESS3

And in disclosure, Eric, you work with Jesse - right? ;)

Re: Interview with the Entrepreneur: Jesse Thomas of JESS3

I spent a week in Colorado taking a class from Joshua Davis and i met up with the Jesse Thomas. In meeting Jesse i knew from the start that he was extremely bright, smart and creative. Through out the week we would talk during lunch or dinner and Jesse blew me away with all of his ideas, experiences and creative edge. Jesse is a motivated individual that has inspired me as a designer to work harder and think differently.

Re: Interview with the Entrepreneur: Jesse Thomas of JESS3

Great insight and great interview.

I know the Jess3 team well and have collaborated with them in the past - their focus on innovation and creativity first is truly what sets them apart...which is necessary since design and especially web design is teetering towards commoditization. Great ideas and creative thinking will never be commodities.

Peter

Re: Interview with the Entrepreneur: Jesse Thomas of JESS3

Great Interview :)

Re: Interview with the Entrepreneur: Jesse Thomas of JESS3

This is great stuff! I've been fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with Jesse both at Ogilvy and currently with JESS3 - while working with the company, I've definitely felt the motivation vibe, both from him and Leslie. They are some hardworking people! I've also been inspired to explore my own creative avenues and learn the importance of design and innovation - big things ahead.

Re: Interview with the Entrepreneur: Jesse Thomas of JESS3

Excellent, comprehensive examination of a great home-grown startup.
