I also think the heros of this disaster are the average "Joe Citizen" who have stepped up and offered their vehicles, their precious supplies, and their time to help their neighbors to safety, driving them to higher and drier ground, and not busy looting the remnants of stores in unsecured areas like some of the "citizens" are doing.

One thing left unsaid due to this tragedy, in light of the war, the rise in gas prices and other little things we nitpick about, is to appreciate life and everyday you wake up.
If the readers can, donate to the American Red Cross, the Salvation Army or any organizations in need and that can supply help to the victims of Katrina.
Off to see the O's up at Fenway this weekend.
