I have been trying to ping and I am getting an error at pingomatic. Can anyone tell me why?

This is the error:
Request Timeout
This request takes too long to process, it is timed out by the server. If it should not be timed out, please contact administrator of this web site to increase 'Connection Timeout'.

That unfortunately is not authoritative. I want to see the actual Pingomatic service updated.

I can remember sending Matt and them an e-mail once about including some new service. I never heard back and I have no idea if it was ever added. Ping-o-matic is still a very cool idea, but they have all been pretty preoccupied with the rest of their business. Maybe they can find some junior Automattic employee or intern at some point with 5 minutes to spare. :)

I noticed that earlier. I checked out the blog attached to the main page and it was last updated in April 2006!!!

Wow. I've never even heard of Pingomatic. I suppose I've been under this rock way too long! :)
