Technosailor: Richmond Update

Sounds like a great place and house. I miss Virginia at times. I was up in NoVa, though. That house looks like a peaceful place for your family. Good luck!

Hey! I live in Richmond, Virginia...the west end of Henrico County to be more specific. I love it here, although the homes are a bit pricey it seems compared to other places.

Marc: I live in Baltimore. Not too much different than NoVa. I'm definitely looking to escape the costs.

Eric: Excellent. :) You'll have to tell me all the hot spots down there.

The house looks great! I am so happy for you and your family.

Did you find it difficult to get out of gov work?

Dude...Has anyone at NG said anything as far as seeing this?
  • Aaron Brazell · 3 years ago
Sean: No but management knows I'm leaving already. It's the worst kept secret in NG.

The house looks really nice -- especially the yard! What kid wouldn't love a big fenced-in yard??? Every time I drive up to Ruxton...I always end up wondering what the hell I'm doing in downtown Baltimore.

    Sigh...one day...

    Yards are cool :)

And renting isn't so bad for your first 1-2 years in a new location, especially if you don't know if you'll be staying there. At least it gives you time to find a place you'll be extremely happy with.

Renting is a great idea. We did that when we first moved to Baltimore, because I swore and stomped my feet -- I was NOT staying more than two years.

Well...this will be the 6th year and now I'm opening a coffeehouse...so it looks like we're staying.

It's so funny how things turn out.
