For the number of stories submitted, there's really no means of getting an adequate representation of good content.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Like television, the crap makes it to the top the majority of the time.  I find myself going to niche sites instead, like &lt;a href="http://dzone.com" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" title="dzone.com"&gt;dzone.com&lt;/a&gt;.
